Cahill ‘s “Feel the Love, ” one of the year’s most anticipated singles, debuted Friday on BBC Radio 1 and went straight to #1 on this week’s Gatwick Echo club chart. The track is a collaboration between American singer-songwriter (and Idol alum) Kimberley Locke along with the incredible UK production trio generally known as CAHILL. The result: a euphoric dance track that’s sure to be one of several summer’s hottest anthems.
I first heard a demo of the single last summer, when When i met Kimberley Locke aboard an RSVP Getaways cruise. We all know Kimberley Locke is usually a supremely talented vocalist, but it’s the woman stage presence that truly sets her apart. She literally radiates love and positive energy during the woman performances, and she couldn’t be considered a nicer, more generous person. “Feel the Love” may be the perfect expression of Kimberley Locke just as one artist.
